My name is Jorge Espino, and I come from a family of adventurers. Since a tender age of one, I've been camping, hiking, and road tripping with my loved ones. I studied construction management, but during my freshman year, I found myself sitting at a table for hours, contemplating what my future would hold. It was in that moment that I made a decision to pursue my passion: showcasing the wonders of Panama. What started as a side hustle eventually consumed me, especially during the pandemic when it became my full-time obsession. Soon after the lockdown, Panama Heavens launched its most influential experience to date, "Atravesando el Istmo" (Crossing the Isthmus). For a month, I had the privilege of exploring each province alongside a group of amazing students and budding travelers, discovering the iconic offerings that our country proudly presents. Since then, my love for the tourism industry has grown exponentially, as I witness its impact on communities that depend on it for cultural preservation, income generation, and recognition.
